Table Aliases configuration

The Table Aliases tab is used to identify the LOGarc Well Master and Data table. This tab enables you to substitute your own alias names in place of the table names that LOGarc requires. If your database is Oracle, you will need to substitute abbreviated table names for several LOGarc standard names. Also, if you are running several instances of LOGarc, with different table sets in the same database, the table names will need to be differentiated by name, i.e. aliased.

The Table Aliases tab contains four sub-tabs that group the table names:

All fields on each sub-tab must be populated to run Utilities.

To configure alias tables

  1. Enter each table alias name and click the blue button to set the entered name as the default.
  2. When finished click Save Changes.
  3. To return to the default names click Set Default.

If you are using Oracle DBMS, you will need to abbreviate some of the default names to under 30 characters on the Parameter table and the Archive table. The common abbreviated names are displayed below.
